CIVIL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (CV-EG)
Responsibilities: Prepare set up and execute construction activities
as per civil design; pursuing objectives of field civil engineering,
optimization in term of cost, construction simplicity, and safety;
coordinate the construction engineering activities information flow
between engineering team and project team.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from reputable
university; minimum 2 years experience in plant engineering and
construction – experienced in jetty construction would be great
advantage; mastering principles and practices of civil engineering
and administration as applied to the project design and construction;
mastering construction methods and inspection techniques; able to
develop plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, and
engineering standards for project construction and improvement.
ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (EL-EG)
Responsibilities: Design the motor control system and power
distribution systems, including electrical control systems;
responsible for power system layout and design, cost-effective
selection of all electrical equipment and materials, grounding and
lighting systems, motor and its control systems selection and design;
establish electrical installation program and provide commissioning,
startup, and troubleshooting support.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from
reputable university; minimum 2 years experience in plant engineering
and construction; knowledge and skill of electrical systems design;
able to develop plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, and
engineering standards for project construction and improvement.
MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (MC-EG)
Responsibilities: Set up and execute engineering activities such as
design review, verification, and studies relevant to project
mechanical engineering topic; pursuing objectives of sound
engineering and design optimization in term of cost, fabrication
simplicity, and safety; provide and ensure the installation,
commissioning and start up of mechanical static, and rotating
equipment according to mechanical design premises; provide
troubleshooting support.
Requirements: Minimum Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from
reputable university; minimum 2 years experience in plant engineering
and construction, especially in chip or pulp and paper project;
mastering the fundamental of mechanical engineering; excellent
understanding on Technical Drawing and Cost Estimating; able to
develop plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, and
engineering standards for project construction and improvement.
QA/QC CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (QC-EG)
Responsibilities: Plan and monitor all of site quality verification
and construction activities; guide and ensure awareness of all
manpower – both under KPSI and contractors – on all of quality
aspects, including procedures, requirements, and implementations;
conduct thorough construction reviews; inspection income raw material
and component quality; implement engineering management / document
control systems.
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from
reputable university; minimum 3 years experience in engineering and
construction both onshore and offshore – experienced in jetty
construction would be great advantage; experienced in implementation
of QA/QC procedure on project site; firm understanding on NDT
procedure, Corrosion Protection System, Civil-Mechanical- Electrical-
Instrument-QC procedure, and HSE implementation in site; knowledge of
estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, engineering
principals and techniques, and various construction methods and
installation procedures; knowledge of accounting principles and cost
control procedures.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Familiar with related and international
materials, systems, codes and standards; computer literate; excellent
in English and Bahasa both written and spoken; high personal work-
motivation, communicative, proactive, and creative; high orientation
on cost-effectiveness, quality, time-frame, and safety; high
professional- integrity and excellent teamwork skills; willing to
relocate to Kalimantan.
