SENIOR COST CONTROL

Mining and Infrastructure sectors through providing world class

strategic goal and deliver our promise to shareholders, currently we
are seeking Indonesia's exceptionally talented people for the
following position:

SENIOR COST CONTROL

Education :
The applicant should have a degree in any discipline of engineering
from a reputable university.

The applicant should have :

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas, mining, and
infrastructure engineering and construction industries, preferably
with mining and construction companies.
2. Experience in managing the compliance of cost control.
3. Experience and/or an understanding of project cost control.
4. Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).

Role Responsibilities :

1. Maintenance and use effective cost control system including
budgeting preparation, budget performance, cost committed, booked and
expenditure, forecasting and progress monitoring and reporting
activities in accordance with company procedures.
2. To created project specific codes in used in conjunction with the
standard set of company cost codes, updated approved variations are
received from client into the database (if available) and allocates
each element from the estimate & budget to the code.
3. Identify the type of expenditure and discrete items that are part
of the project using cost code which established by Project Manager.
4. Check that the cost codes on each MR are correct also checks that
the remaining budget for the cost code is sufficient to cover the
proposed purchase, ascertaining purchase order (PO) has been placed
the costs are considered to be committed and refer to the budget.
5. Prepare a forecast at completion in the order to forecast the
project result for each cost code at regular interval (determined by
Division Manager) with assistance provided upon request from
engineers, supervisors and/or manager as appropriate, check that the
forecast at completion is equal to or in excess of the committed cost.
6. To prepare cash flow forecast for the project internal/external.
7. To prepare Schedule & Scope Progress Measurement: Earned value
measurement requires that budgets, incurred /actual, earned and
forecast data.
8. To Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), provide a means of
controlling the project by phase or manager.

Other requirements :

1. Team Oriented, Self motivated and ability to priorities work.
2. Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively
communicate with all levels of staff in organization.
3. A `can do' attitude, with a hands on approach.
4. Familiar with Dbase software multi- user (FoxPro, Access, File
Maker, P3 Primavera etc).
