Weatherford, a multi-national company who are involved in the drilling and production sectors of oil, gas and geothermal projects worldwide, are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individual to fill the position of:


Controlled Pressure Drilling & Testing Business Unit Coordinator

Supervise and coordinate Controlled Pressure Drilling & Testing (CPDT)
product & service line in accordance with Weatherford and Customer
procedures. Act as principle technical assistant to the Business Unit
Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the workshop supervisor to schedule workshop activities to
maximize efficiency, including: (a. Prioritize and schedule repair and
maintenance of equipment and assist with QA/QC follow up and ensure
that all documentation and/or certification is relative to equipment;
b. Implement waste management controls; c. Maintain good standards of
housekeeping practices in workshop and yard)
• Liaise with procurement and logistic in supporting all operations
between Weatherford and customer.
• Coordinate personnel and equipment for customer jobs and complete
necessary paperwork.
• Source additional personnel and equipment from other locations if
required.
• Where applicable, manage field personnel utilization effectively
including scheduling vacations to minimize excessive accrual of
vacation days whilst satisfying operation needs.
• Responsible for employee supervision, performance management and
coordinating training.
• Assist with customer enquiries as required.
• Perform field duties as required.
• Prepare quotations, assist with tenders.
• Monitor and maintain the inventory for base and operations
• Other duties as directed.

Requirements :

• Posses high organizational and People skills
• Possess good English written and communication skills
• Strong operational and technical skills in relation to relevant
Weatherford products and services.
• Good customer and employee interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop staff to full potential.
• Computer literate (knowledge of web based reporting is beneficial)
• Good knowledge of oilfield product and services.
• Ability to motivate and develop staff
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
• Degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
• 3 - 5 years in a similar work experience.
