ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE MANAGER

Ipsos is a global custom marketing research agency (www.ipsos.com) . As Ipsos is entering the Indonesian market, we are looking for a senior management member to fill the role as an Accounting and Finance Manager. Currently Ipsos Indonesia is still under the name Central Data.




As an Accounting and Finance Manager, and as one of the senior
management team, you are expected to carry out the following
responsibilities?
* Overall responsible for the financial accounting, analysis,
reporting, internal control, budgeting and forecasting.
* Manage the day to day financial operation to ensure compliance with
group policies and local accounting standards.
* Working with the regional/head office financial team for submission
of timely financial accounts for group consolidation.
* Implementation of group internal control policies and ensure
effective business and financial control.
* Responsible for implementation of job book and finance system.
* Liaise with the bankers, auditors, lawyers and tax authorities.
* Other ad hoc project assigned by the senior management.

Ipsos offers custom research services, including concept and product
testing, attitude and usage studies, brand loyalty, volume
forecasting, marketing models, and qualitative research. Our
organization provides information to our clients to help them make
solid strategic and tactical marketing business decisions, ranging
from brand equity management to new product optimization and roll-out. ÿ

As we are starting a new company, it is very critical for the person
to have certain traits as follows?
* Self-motivated with initiatives to set up a new system and department
* Strong leadership skills as to develop the new team in Indonesia
* Ability to work independently supporting the senior management team
locally, regionally and at the global level
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to liase with other
colleagues in the region and in the world

Other important requirements?
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Minimum 7 years experience in accounting, finance and taxation.
* Good command of spoken and written English
* PC literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and
Accounting software
* Internet and on-line application literate
