1. Data Analyst (DA): 1 position (Based in Bogor)
The data analyst will work under Tree & Market Unit to maintain 
quantitative and qualitative research�s data of the ACIAR-Teak project in 
order to provide statistical analysis as required.
 This is a Consultant 
position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract is 
for a period of 6 (six) months, with possibility of renewal, subject to 
assessment of performance, and availability of resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following 
tasks:
� Participate in research design methodology
� Validate consistency of data that is collected from the fields.
� Enter the data and create research database.
� Conduct statistical analysis and assist to write the report.
Qualifications and skills:
This position requires at least the following qualifications and 
capacities:
� S1 in Statistic with 2 (two) years experience. Fresh graduate is 
encouraged to apply.
� Having experiences in smallholder forestry researchs on silviculture 
and forest product marketing will be an advantage.
� Excellence understanding in using SPSS and other statistical tools.
� Good oral and written communication skills in Indonesian and English.
� Self motivated and able to work independently as well as a team. 
� Demonstrated skills in time management and result oriented. 
2. Field Research Assistants (FRA): 2 positions (Based in Gunung Kidul)
The Silviculture Research Assistant will work for ACIAR-Teak Project 
under Tree and Market Unit. This is a Consultant position with a 
competitive salary and benefits package. The contract is for a period of 6 
(six) months, with possibility of renewal, subject to assessment of 
performance, and availability of resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following 
tasks:
�  As part of team, will conduct household survey at selected villages.
�  Assist Agroforestry Tree Specialist on conducting Silviculture PRA 
survey with FGD method
�  Facilitate smallholder growing teak on field-visiting to the 
Perhutani Teak Centre or/and Smallholder Teak Improved Management Demplots
�  Conduct establishing and maintaining of the Silviculture Farmer 
Demonstration Trials (FDTs) and facilitate smallholder growing teak to 
implement the FDTs
�  Arrange administration and financing tasks, such as FGD�s Invitation 
Letters and Travel Expenses Report (TER)
� Produce monthly progress report on silviculture activities.
� To assist tree specialist and marketing specialist in FGD
� To facilitate smallholder growing teak to implement the project 
approach
� Produce monthly progress report.
Qualifications and skills:
� D3 or S1 in Forestry, Social-economic, Natural Resources Management.
� Having knowledge on teak silviculture and its marketing will be 
advantages.
� 1-2 years experiences to carry out marketing research and studies, 
including:  planning and implementing field surveys; data analysis and 
database management.
� Good oral and written communication skills in Indonesian and English.
� Self motivated and able to work independently as well as a team. 
� Competency with computers, email.
