Sr Systems Analyst
Candidates for this position is responsible for the analysis, design,
programming, testing and implementation of new and existing business
application software in a mainframe environment using COBOL, CICS and DB2.

With minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the development
and implementation of medium to large scale application system activities.
The incumbent will interface with customers using the OPL Repository and
OPIS Other Party Liability systems to determine system needs and business
solutions. The incumbent will have knowledge in systems analysis and design
techniques, knowledge of standard programming methodology for assigned
areas, current systems technology, project life cycle, and the ability to
communicate on technical matters both verbal and written. The incumbent is
responsible for pursuing opportunities to improve current technical and
business skills and to develop new technical and business skills.
Required Skills/Competencies : Technical requirements include COBOL/COBOL II,
DB2, IMS DB/DC, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, QMF
Preferred Skills: The candidate must have a moderate to high expertise level
with DB2 and SQL. including. Knowledge of Other Party Liability processing
or experience with OPL systems is a plus. Qualifications include good
organizational skills, good time management skills, ability to work
independently and communicate with customers. The incumbent must be capable
of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the application
systems project life-cycle. Incumbent will have a proficient understanding
of business environment and information systems concepts, good analytical
and problem solving skills, and understands the importance of quality
improvement processes. Incumbent will possess proficient verbal and written
communication skills to effectively interface with other professionals in
the organization and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new
concepts.

Shift/Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
