JOB TITLE: SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Initiates or conducts special studies for improving facilities or operations; provides specialized technical service in recognized engineering fields; acts as consultant on complex engineering problems and design projects; coordinates or directs WORK of other engineers.

2. Plans, schedules and provides WORK direction as required for preparation of design, processes, reports, correspondence and related data; assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of very complex engineering problems.

3. Formulates the basis for engineering studies in any of several basic or special engineering fields by analyzing and evaluating all data pertinent to problems. Evaluates data as to scope, effect on existing installations, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations.

4. Initiates detailed WORK outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes and/or equipment. Performs WORK and/or delegates WORK to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects.

5. Guides the overall planning and oversees the overall construction effort of a project or projects as defined in scope including necessary expenditures forecasts and cost control.

6. Reviews construction projects status schedules and cost reports to ensure that assigned projects are progressing in accordance with schedule and that all allocated funds are not exceeded without prior approval to overspend approved funds.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. B.S. in Engineering

2. Ten years experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert in his field.

3. Should be familiar with planning and scheduling methods such as CPM and PERT.

4. Must speak and write English fluently.

5. Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, Standards and Specifications.

6. Must have a driving license.

JOB TITLE: Senior Supervisor

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:


1. Knowledge on installation maintenance and inspection of instrumentation such as analyzers, transmitter, control value. Experience in execution of Engineering/ Modification.

2. Work inclusive of documentation update. Good Supervisory skill and capable in leading contractors to perform plant maintenance work.

3. Capable in performing equipment trouble shooting work.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Diploma in Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Oil/Petrochemical Industry.

2. Knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, SAP/R3

3. Good written and Communication skill


4. At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a refining or petrochemical plant

5. Diploma/ITC Certificate in Electronic Discipline is preferred

JOB TITLE: OFFSHORE/FABRICATIO N YARD
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ADVISOR

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Audits compliance with Company Loss Prevention requirements to minimize losses to Company, the public, and the contractor. This is accomplished by: assisting contractors in preparation of an effective Loss Control Program; WORK Site inspections to identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions which cause losses; and evaluating the effectiveness of the CONTRACTOR’s safety program and recommending corrective action.

2. Attends bid explanations to clarify loss prevention requirements, to point out any unusual requirements and offers assistance to bidders in determining requirements for safety equipment.

3. Attends job progress meetings for current construction to be aware of current and future plans, and point out loss prevention requirements, or offer advice.

4. Inspects WORK Sites to detect hazards, and record compliance with Company Loss Prevention requirements, and informs contractor of deficiencies which must be corrected.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Secondary School graduate.

2. Ten (10) years of heavy construction experience, preferably in the petro-chemical

or process areas.

3. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English is essential.

4. Knowledge of applicable Company and U.S. construction standards, codes and regulations.

5. Membership in a recognized professional safety society such as the Institute of Industrial Safety Officers is desirable.

6. Must have a driving license.

JOB TITLE: GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Company representative to offshore construction spreads or at the Contractor’s fabrication yard.

2. Plans, supervises and directs Superintendents, Field Superintendents and Barge Superintendents assigned to Contractor’s offshore construction spreads or contractor fabrication yard, and construction material lay down areas.

3. Department representative (as required) to liaise with other departments, such as Operations, Inspection, Mechanical Services (Maintenance) , Field Services, Operations Engineering and other functions as designated by the Construction Engineer.

4. Provides input into constructability studies, field surveys, design review, scheduling, estimates and budgets.

5. Attends rig-move meetings and coordinates vessel movements assignments.

6. Identifies material requirements, coordinates material load-outs and material substitution.

7. Distribute documentation, task books and assist with development of contracting plans, schedules and strategies.

8. Ensures the implementation of policies and procedures assists with technical and contractual inquiries, and reporting of contract and project progress.

9. Ensures implementation of safety programs and quality control procedures.

10. Monitor and controls construction personnel movements and assignments.

11. Reports and follow up near misses, accidents and any other incident with all applicable persons and departments.

12. Contract administration support.

13. Maintains barge reports as required, including Daily Construction Logs, Field Work Directives and Force Account Sheets.

14. Coordinates and interface with Northern Area (NA) Producing, including production requirements such as scheduling facility shut-ins for tie-ins to existing facilities; field requirements such as assistance from NA Producing personnel in coordinating field surveys; review/sign- off on detailed scope definition and engineering documents to ensure that the facilities provided meet the specific field requirements; and facility completion and acceptance such as walk through inspections and meetings with applicable departments for facility acceptance, discuss and assist with clearance of facility exception items and assist with obtaining documentation and signatures for mechanical and performance acceptance certificates.

15. Coordinates and interface with Inspection Department on inspection requirements for coordination of personnel availability for visual and Non­ Destructive Testing (N.D.T.) inspections.

16. Coordinates and interface with Production Engineering and Future Oil Development Department (PE & FODD).

17. Coordinates and interface with Security Department on facility access, photography permits and obtaining gate passes for transporting documents and other items from offshore locations.

18. Coordinates and interface with Marine Department for approval of Pipeline and Cable routing, scheduling Vessel Movements (Rig Moves) with the Rig Move Coordinator for mobilization/ demobilization, movements within the field and anchor pattern approval, approval of contractor proposed vessels at technical proposal and mobilization stage and approval for access to marine piers by contractor vessels.

19. Fabrication site monitoring and reporting - ensuring details of voyage protection and sea fastening of the structure or module to the barge deck are fully specified

according to the Company criteria of sea state and tow conditions and that all WORK is carried out in accordance with the technical specifications and procedures contained in contract documents; collating all essential documentation, test reports, dimensional survey reports, acceptance certificates, etc. throughout the entire fabrication period and reviewing prior to the programmed load-out date, the fabricator’s load-out sea fastening procedure, i.e., details of skidding, lifting, winching, barge moorings and trailer mounted movement onto the barge.

20. Compiles documentation and records provided by the fabricator on the complete fabrication and testing for the preparation of project record books.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Secondary School Diploma plus advanced technical training such as engineering design, High National Certificate (H NC), etc.

2. Minimum of 20 years of progressive construction experience in offshore construction, onshore fabrication and pre-commissioning, and offshore hook-up and commissioning work with a minimum of 10 years direct supervisory experience installing subset pipelines and electrical cables, offshore structures and well platforms. Track record must demonstrate serving as the client representative during the successful completion of major offshore projects.

3. Good written and oral English.

4. Knowledge of the Arabic language preferred, but not essential.

5. Must have a driving license.

JOB TITLE: SUPERINTENDENT

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

1. Supports several areas or units of major construction projects, monitoring all phases of field construction. Responsible for executing the work in a timely manner, in accordance with design and schedule requirements. Participates in review and submission of financial reports, cost analysis, progress measurements, final cost estimates, approval of field changes, etc. Administers or assists in the administration of safety programs, employee training and evaluation, site security, etc.

2. This position will at times be responsible for construction WORK Sites where in excess of 200 Contractor Employees work.

JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Assists the Superintendent in direction of an area of craft specialty on units of a construction project, or perform duties of Superintendent on projects or normal scope. Responsible for executing the WORK in a timely manner, in accordance with design and schedule requirements. Participates in evaluation of progress, approval of field changes, subcontract amendments etc. Administers or assists in administration of safety program, employee training and evaluation, WORK Site security etc., for the area under his control.

2. This position will at times be responsible for construction job sites where up to
200 craftsmen, foremen, laborers, coordinators, etc. work.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Secondary School diploma plus on-the-job training and experience in the work area under his supervision.

2. Previous satisfactory record as Foreman, Job Coordinator or Craftsman including at least 12 years construction experience including three (3) years in a responsible supervisory position.

3. Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English.

4. Knowledge of the Arabic language preferred but not essential.

2. Reports to and liaises with the Construction Coordinator for work assignments, material requirements, material load-outs, material substitutions, engineering assistance and documentation.

3. Verify and signs (in the absence of a Company representative) “Field Work Directives”, Force Account Sheets”, work permits and maintaining a “Daily Construction Log”, to be forwarded to the Construction Coordinator on a weekly basis for handling and distribution.

4. Prepares a “Weekly Progress Report’ which states a brief description of progress, problems encountered (design, specification, contractual, etc.), projected assignment completion, and any other pertinent information to be submitted to the Construction Coordinator for handling and distribution.

5. Reports and follow up near misses, accidents and any other incident with all applicable persons and departments.

6. Contract administration support.

7. Coordinates and interface with Northern Area (NA) Producing on Facility Completion and Acceptance by attending walkthrough inspections and meetings with applicable departments for facility acceptance, discuss and assist with clearance of facility exception items and assist with obtaining documentation and signatures for mechanical and performance acceptance certificates.

4. Maintains a “Daily Construction Log” listing a brief description of the daily work activities and any problems encountered and to be forwarded to the Construction Coordinator on a weekly basis for handling and distribution and a “Weekly Progress Report” which states a brief description of progress, problems encountered (design, specification, contractual, etc.), projected assignment completion date, and any other pertinent information will be sent to the Onshore Superintendent for handling and distribution.

Coordinates and interface with Northern Area (NA) Producing on Facility Completion and Acceptance by attending walkthrough inspections and meetings with applicable departments for facility acceptance, discuss and assist with clearance of facility exception items and assist with obtaining documentation and signatures for mechanical and performance acceptance certificates.

8. Site responsibilities include maintaining daily log of activities, scheduling rigging crews, mooring tugs and barges, inspection and maintenance of mooring equipment including tugger winches, wires, mooring ropes and anchors, rigging inspection and cataloging, monitoring crane performances and monitoring dive spread safety and activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of accredited Secondary School or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 7 years of progressive construction experience in offshore construction, well hook-up and completion work with a minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience installing structural or piping modifications, mechanical and electrical equipment or instrumentation and ESD systems. Track record must demonstrate serving as the client representative during the successful completion of major offshore projects including platform modifications and upgrades.

3. Good written and oral English.

4. Knowledge of the Arabic language preferred, but not essential.

5. Must have a driving license.
